Small AOW pensions cannot be taken as a cash lump sum

If you only lived or worked in the Netherlands for a couple of years, your AOW pension will be very small. However, you cannot choose to take your AOW pension in a cash lump sum.

If you live outside the Netherlands, however, you can ask us to pay your AOW pension once every 3 months or once a year. This will help you avoid paying too much in bank charges. If you wish to do this, please contact us.
