BBZ/BDZ information sessions for employers for 2026

Being well-prepared for doing business across the border

For 2026, we have organised a number of information sessions for employers, entrepreneurs, professionals, intermediaries, HR specialists and payroll companies involved in doing business across the border. If you do business across the border, have employees who live across the border and telework (work from home), these sessions will be of interest to you.

During these sessions, we will look at various aspects of social security , tax and employment law

The sessions will consist of webinars and live meetings. For each meeting, a summary is provided of what you can expect.

Webinars: ‘Being Well-prepared for Doing Business across the Border; Teleworking, Payment of Social Insurance Contributions, and Working in 2 or More Countries’

We will look at topics such as social security, taxes and employment law, and answer questions like the ones below:

  • In which country should I deduct social insurance contributions for an employee who has a second job in a neighbouring country?
  • What rules apply to employees who also telework?
  • As an employer, what arrangements do I need to make for those employees?
  • Do I need to deduct tax in 2 countries? How does this work?

If you have any other questions, please ask them in the chat during the broadcast. This way, we can help you make sure your employees are well-prepared for working across the border.
