What is the remigration benefit?

The remigration benefit scheme is for people who live in the Netherlands but who want to return to their country of birth. If you meet the qualifying conditions, you can get a monthly payment for your living costs.

Starting from 1 January 2025, it will no longer be possible to apply for a remigration benefit. If you are already receiving a remigration benefit, you will continue to receive it.
