If you want to apply for a DigiD
To log in to My SVB, you will need either DigiD with SMS verification or the DigiD app . Make sure you arrange for this immediately when you apply for a DigiD.
How to apply for a DigiD

Apply for a DigiD by using the application form on the DigiD website. Or you can apply via the DigiD app.
If you already have DigiD, make sure you add SMS verification or download the DigiD app.
Many people who live outside the Netherlands can still apply for a DigiD. Select the situation that applies to you and see if you can get a DigiD.
You receive AOW pension
If you are receiving an AOW pension, you can apply for a DigiD via My SVB, providing you have a Dutch Burgerservicenummer (BSN ).
You have received a letter saying that your AOW pension will start soon
If we have sent you a letter stating that you will soon receive your first payment of AOW pension, you can apply for a DigiD via My SVB. You will need a Dutch Burgerservicenummer (BSN ) for this.
You do not get an AOW pension and you have not received a letter about AOW pension
If you live outside the Netherlands and you have Dutch nationality or the nationality of another country of the European Economic Area (EEA),you can apply for a DigiD via the application form on the DigiD website.
If you are a national of a country outside the EEA, you cannot get a DigiD.
DigiD Machtigen (DigiD Authorisation)
Never give your DigiD to anyone else. If you want someone else to manage your affairs for you via My SVB, please use ‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation).
You cannot apply for a DigiD for another person. If you want to manage someone else’s affairs for them via My SVB, you can do this using ‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation).
