Logging in with DigiD

The easiest way to log in securely is by using the DigiD app.

You can log in securely in 2 steps using an SMS code you will receive on your mobile telephone or landline. You will receive an SMS text message or a spoken SMS with a code. Log in with your username and password and enter the code you received. 

If you have a DigiD with SMS verification, you can use the DigiD app or log in with SMS verification. If you do not have SMS verification, you will not be able to add it to your current DigiD. However, you can apply for a new DigiD with SMS verification. This will also allow you to activate the DigiD app.  

If you want to authorise someone else to arrange your affairs with us online in My SVB, you should not give them your DigiD. Instead, you can authorise them via ‘DigiD Machtigen’ (DigiD Authorisation). To do this, go the the DigiD website.
